Service Technician Wanted for the "Neue Welt" Concert and Ball Hall

Kultur, Tourismus und Messebetriebe Zwickau GmbH (Kultour Z.) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Zwickau. In addition to the event venues Sparkassen-Arena, the "Neue Welt" concert and ballroom, and the open-air stage, Kultour Z. also manages the marketing division, the tourist information office with several ticket shops, the trade fairs and exhibitions division, and the market administration responsible for the marketing and leasing of public spaces.

With the Sparkassen-Arena, the "Neue Welt" concert and ballroom, and the open-air stage, we offer ideal venues for both rock and pop events as well as formal receptions and galas. With approximately 400 events and 280,000 visitors annually, the company ranks among the top three event centers of comparable size in Saxony.

We are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible at our "Neue Welt" concert and ballroom venue:

Service Technician/Handywoman (m/f/d) with qualifications in heating, ventilation, plumbing, and HVAC for a full-time permanent position.

Your Qualifications & Strengths

• Completed vocational training in heating and ventilation systems, building services engineering, or electrical installation, or many years of professional experience

• Experience in building maintenance

• Willingness to work flexible hours, especially on event days (including weekends and holidays)

• An open, friendly, and confident demeanor, combined with an independent and solution-oriented approach to work

• Resilience, flexibility, reliability, dedication, loyalty, and the ability to work well with others

• Class B driver's license

Your responsibilities

• Organizing and performing regular inspection, maintenance, and repair work

• Planning and executing events within your area of responsibility, as well as various setup and teardown tasks related to events

City Guide Wanted

Wide variety, great interest—our city tours are becoming increasingly popular

In recent years, our city tours have become increasingly popular. Starting with the introductory tour, which tourists often use as a way to kick off their visit to Zwickau and get a first impression of the city, we have added numerous new themed tours over the years.

For example, follow in Luther’s footsteps, learn more about the life and work of Robert Schumann, discover the dark side of Zwickau, or travel back with us to the 12th century. This is just a small selection of the guided tours we offer.

The variety of offerings is constantly growing, as is the interest—and not just among tourists. More and more Zwickau residents are also eager to learn more about their city, its notable figures, and its history. You can find our offerings for different age groups at www.zwickautourist.de.
