The Zwickau Open-Air Theater strives to make the experience as pleasant and hassle-free as possible for guests with disabilities. Here is the most important information on this topic:
Parking
We have a total of 3 accessible parking spaces available for guests with mobility impairments. You can access these via a separate, clearly marked driveway that leads to the back of the stage (Schwanenteich entrance).
Access to the outdoor stage
From the accessible parking lot, you can reach the accessible entrance to the open-air theater in just a few steps. Please show your identification to our security staff at the entrance. If you need help finding your seat, our security staff on site will be happy to assist you.
Restrooms
Unfortunately, there is no permanently installed accessible restroom at the Zwickau Open-Air Theater. Depending on the number of visitors, a portable accessible restroom may be set up. If this is not the case during your visit, the medical staff will be happy to assist you in locating the regular restrooms.
Seating
Depending on the type of event, our guests with mobility impairments will be seated near the stage. For seated events, we will of course be happy to provide a seat in the immediate vicinity for your companion, provided that ticket sales and the seating plan allow for it. For standing-room-only concerts (typically rock and pop concerts), a designated area is cordoned off specifically for concertgoers with mobility impairments, ensuring you have a good view even at these events.
Tickets and Discounts
Whether and to what extent discounts are available for people with disabilities or those with severe disabilities depends on the event and the organizer. Please contact our ticket service for more information.
