The Sparkassen-Arena Zwickau (formerly known as the Stadthalle Zwickau) was built in 2000 and has been offering top-notch cultural entertainment ever since. Its circular design provides the ideal setting for all types of events, from sports events and theater performances to concert productions. The venue has a lot to offer: blackout capabilities, stage, lighting, and sound systems, telescopic bleachers, camera and control rooms, VIP lounges, and artist dressing rooms. The circular building proves to be a magnet for visitors, thanks in part to its convenient location and ample free parking.

In 2025, Sparkasse Zwickau acquired the naming rights—and since then, the multi-purpose arena has been known as the Sparkassen-Arena Zwickau.

Renowned artists such as Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Chris Norman, Robin Gibb, the Scorpions, Bob Dylan, Andrea Berg, Bryan Adams, Chris Rea, and Udo Jürgens have already performed on its stage.
