The “Neue Welt” concert and ballroom captivates visitors with its unique Art Nouveau hall: fascinating caryatids, stunning stucco elements, and an impressive grand chandelier in the center of the venue. The “Neue Welt” hall was built in 1903—during the heyday of Art Nouveau. The attention to detail and the exceptional architectural design make this venue a true magnet for visitors.

Throughout its more than 100-year history, the concert and ball hall has welcomed many renowned artists. Even today, it hosts comedians, national and international musicians, spectacular shows, and impressive musicals. In addition, the “Neue Welt” is the venue of choice for gala balls, classical concerts, and receptions. The “Neue Welt” offers the perfect atmosphere for any event.

Directly behind the "Neue Welt" concert and ballroom, stretching toward the Zwickauer Mulde River, lies a beautiful park covering an area of about 3,000 square meters, which invites visitors to take a stroll and relax. Even today, life-size stone statues can still be found at the entrance, serving as a reminder of the venue’s glory days. These figures represent four of the nine Muses, daughters of Zeus from Greco-Roman mythology. The area surrounding the “Neue Welt” is complemented by the adjacent festival grounds.
